Objective
The overall objective of this project is to promote responsible land governance in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam (CLMV) through influencing forthcoming agribusinesses in this region to adopt responsible land policies and practices.
Project period
August 2017 to July 2018
Target Outcomes
1: Committed companies’ understanding and capacity of managing risks associated with land investment is improved.
2: Committed companies’ capacity of engaging communities is improved.
3: Committed companies’ policies and practices related to land are improved.
Project main activities
- Capacity-building for companies
- Organisation of regional events and meetings with communities, companies and chambers of commerce.
- Capacity - building on development and improvement of policies and effective engagement with communities.

The project is funded by the Mekong Region Land Governance, a project implemented by Land Equity International and GRET and funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), the German Cooperation and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
