Accountability is one our core values. As Oxfam, we take responsibility for our actions and hold ourselves accountable, and we believe that others should also be held accountable for their actions.

Oxfam in Laos is registered under the name of Oxfam Solidarité, which is responsible for the systems and services allowing Oxfam in Laos to operate. We are accountable to all the people we work with in the local communities, to our partner organisations, and to our donors and supporters.

Our programmes are regularly audited and evaluated by external firms.

On average, Oxfam in Laos has an annual budget of €3 million, which includes financial contributions from donors and partner affiliates in the country (Oxfam Novib, Oxfam US, Oxfam Belgium, Oxfam Australia and Oxfam Hong Kong).

Our main institutional donors in Laos are the European Union, the Belgian Government, the MRLG consortium and the Australian Government.
